Yes, but at reduced capability. Without Thunderbolt 4, the TS4 operates at USB 3.2 speeds (10Gbps). This still provides the ports and charging, but limits display output to one screen on most non-Thunderbolt hosts, and maximum bandwidth drops from 40Gbps to 10Gbps.
Is the CalDigit TS4 compatible with Windows laptops?
Thunderbolt 4 is platform-agnostic. Any Windows laptop with a Thunderbolt 4 port gets full TS4 capability. Intel Evo laptops with Thunderbolt 4 work identically to MacBook Pro in testing.
