Our commitment
Accessibility statement
BuyOnceRight should be easy to use for everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, magnification, captions or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've built in
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack) can navigate them.
- Text colours meet WCAG AA contrast (at least 4.5:1) in both light and dark themes.
- All images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Layouts reflow to 320px wide and to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Animations respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
Reading tools on every page
Select the accessibility icon at the top of any page to adjust how the site looks. Your choices are saved on your device and applied on every visit.
- Text size
- Enlarge all text to 112% or 125%.
- High contrast
- Pure black and white with stronger borders, in light or dark mode.
- Underline links
- Makes every link identifiable without relying on colour.
- Readable font
- Switches to Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed by the Braille Institute for readers with low vision.
- Extra text spacing
- Increases line, letter and word spacing, which many readers with dyslexia find easier.
- Stop animations
- Turns off motion, transitions and background video.
Known limitations
Product photos are supplied by Amazon. We describe each one with the product's name, but we can't edit the images themselves, and some contain small printed text. Amazon's own pages, which our “Check price” links open in a new tab, are outside our control.
Report a barrier
If something on this site is difficult to use, tell us. Email hello@buyonceright.com with the page address and what happened, and we'll aim to respond within five business days. If you need information from a page in another format, we'll provide it.
